    Beatles Complete Easy Guitar [Paperback]

    http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/0881885959

This book wasn't conceptualized to play along to every Beatle recording, or to play the "Taxman" solo note for note... instead this book is constructed cleverly and effectively for folks who might have difficulty playing non-stop barre chords or uncomfortable "jazz" chords.

Personally, I think it's one of the most useful instructional books I've ever purchased because it brilliantly simplifies - or in the best case scenario recreates the ever popular and people-pleasing Beatle catalog in doable keys with doable chords.

In most, if not all cases, despite changing the original keys (or eliminating bass movement and voice leading) these arrangements capture the tonality and heart of the original compositions in a user-friendly way. Over the last 15 years I've used this book frequently for teaching, sing-a-longs and occasionally for an overview into the basic harmony of the Beatle's music.

This book is a "stand out" in my large instructional library... I absolutely recommend this book.

    Great work Hal Leonard!

Thanks, Jim. It's an amazing book. This was a staple for me from age 11 to age 30. A good way to interact with the DNA of these tunes, I think. I appreciate the reminder. Now where is it?
